Corbin began rehearsals for Short North Stage’s production of PIPPIN in Columbus OH, on February 26th, where he will appear as the tittle role beginning March 22nd-April 14th.
Corbin was seen as the role of Octavian in CLEOPATRA at the fabulous new venue; Chelsea Music Hall. CLEOPATRA is a new, exciting show that is a fusion of music, dance, fashion, theatre, and nightlife that welcomes the audience into a wholly interactive experience. The Original Off-Broadway production was Produced by Nathaniel Hill with Direction/Choreography by JT Horenstein, and original Music by Jeff Daye, and Lyrics by Laura Klienbaum.
Corbin Payne is an NYC based Actor, Singer, Dancer; born and raised in the mountains of Colorado Springs, Colorado. He grew up exploring performing arts, discovering at an early age that singing was his passion. The desire to act and dance on stage swiftly followed.
Corbin was accepted into the University of Northern Colorado where he received his B.A. in Musical Theatre. Go Bears! Currently, he is living in NYC though his ties to Colorado Theatre remain strong. Most recently, Corbin made his NYC/Off-Broadway Debut with CLEOPATRA in November of 2018 at the Brand-New Venue: Chelsea Music Hall. In March, Corbin will be appearing as Pippin in Pippin with Short North Stage in Columbus Ohio.
Corbin became a member of the Equity Membership Candidate Program as of November 11th, 2017. He is currently eligible to join Equity, but is remaining non-union in the hopes of finding representation to take him to the next level.
